  • Kylie Saunders is the Principal of KRS dance, and although she loves this role and the Studio her first love will always be teaching. Kylie still enjoys teaching all students from Babyballet®, recreational classes and adores teaching her performance and extension students and guiding our senior students into Pre-professional classes. Kylie believes that dance is for everybody and continues to provides extension and support for passionate dancers.

    My students received 38 Callback nominations since 2002, having been nominated to perform at an exhibition for exemplary HSC dance works.

    I have had students ranked 2nd and 5th in the state for HSC dance.

    Choreographer for the Schools Spectacular in 2006 and 2007 and have been employed by the NSW Public Schools Performing Arts Unit as a tutor and choreographer.

    Established and co-coordinated the Sydney Region Dance Camps and Ensembles in 2007 and co-choreographed the Sydney Region Middle School Dance Ensemble.

    Employed by the Office of the Board of Studies as a HSC Dance and Drama Practical Examiner since 2001.

About our Principal

Pete Evans

  • After moving to Sydney to further pursue his career in dance, Pete completed two years of full time training at the esteemed ‘Ev&Bow Full-Time Dance Training Centre' under the guidance of Sarah Boulter and Lisa Bowmer, where he was asked to perform as a member of their select company.

    Upon graduating, he took part in the Dream Dance Company’s pre-professional program 'Show Business' facilitated by Marko Panzic and Katie Sanchez. During this time he was able to network with other like-minded commercial dancers, with whom he now works regularly.

    Pete has continued to perform professionally within the Australian and International dance scenes. In 2016 he successfully auditioned for international production company 'Talent Avenue', who flew him to China to perform as a soloist for Honda's 'Avancier' launch in the Beijing National Stadium. Since returning, he has built for himself a notable commercial dance career, performing at multiple corporate events for brands such as ASICS, Dermaveen, St George Bank, Dr Lewinn's, SONY, Toyota, Qatar Airways, Sydney Trains and more.

    Pete is in high demand as a teacher and choreographer across Australia due to his unique, athletic style of dance. Most recently, he was brought on as a creative for the NSW School Spectacular, the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras, the 2019 Cemoy Campaign and assistant choreographer on ‘Dancing With Stars’.

    It is Pete's commitment to being a dependable and well-rounded performer that has helped him cultivate a career spanning many facets of the dance industry. He prides himself on the opportunities he has earned as well as the creatives he has worked with.

    In 2017 he travelled to Los Angeles to further his training. This gave him the chance to study under renowned teachers such as Jillian Myers, Megan Lawson, Camillo Lauricella and Teddy Forance. After returning to Australia, Teddy cast Pete in the Telstra 'Together It's Magic' TVC that he was choreographing, alongside some of Sydney's best commercial talent.

    At the end of 2018 Pete successfully auditioned for the second season of Jillian Myer's international training program and showcase 'Questions and Answers'. This took him to Tokyo, Japan, alongside only four other Australian dancers to complete the program and perform with likeminded creatives from all across the globe.

    After attending Neale Whittaker's weekly open classes, Pete was cast in the 2018 sold out stage show 'Una Palabra'. This production was the company's debut show and led to multiple performances with the cast across Sydney including showcasing at the Australian Dance Festival.

    Pete has worked extensively with world renowned company 'Opera Australia' performing as a seasonal dancer and actor in their productions of Graeme Murphy's 'Turandot' and David McVicar's 'Don Giovanni' at the Sydney Opera House. Most recently, he performed the principal dance role of ‘The Madator’ in Verdi’s ‘La Traviata’.

Elissa Golding

  • Ellie starting dancing at the age of 2 and has trained in all styles for 21 years with her main training through KRS Dance under the guidance of Kylie Saunders, and Alex Dunlop. Ellie was a competitive dancer for 6 years which enabled her to forge a stylistic and industry ready style. After graduating Ellie has taken place in the Pre-professional program facilitated by Pete Evans.

    Ellie has continued to perform professionally in the Australian and international dance scenes. In 2018 she successfully auditioned for Samba Brazil Entertainment where she was flown to Taiwan to perform at the World Flora Exposition in 2019. Upon returning she has continued to cultivate a successful commercial dance career performing for brands such as, Cattier, Mcdonalds, Mad Mex, Dessert Boxes, ING Bank and many more.

    During 2020 Ellie had the opportunity to train exclusively with Metodo from Brazil. Having this training behind her she has allowed her to perform regularly with Samba Brazil Entertainment one of Australia’s leading corporate entertainment companies, as seen on Australia’s got talent in 2019 on the live shows.

    Multifaceted performer which has lead Ellie to be a well-rounded teacher.

Jordy Williams

  • Jordy is a highly qualified dance teacher with a strong foundation in both movement science and classical dance training. She holds a Bachelor of Sport & Exercise Science from the University of Technology Sydney, is a certified Matwork and Reformer Pilates instructor, and has recently completed her Certificate in Dance Teaching (Ballet) through the Royal Academy of Dance. Jordy is proud to be a Registered RAD Ballet Teacher, bringing a nurturing, injury-conscious approach to her teaching.

    Jordy began dancing at the age of three and has developed a lifelong passion for movement, performance, and education. With her combined background in dance and exercise science, she prioritises safe technique and the development of confident, capable dancers. Her teaching philosophy balances high expectations with genuine support, creating a positive learning environment where dancers feel challenged, motivated, and cared for.

    She has a particular passion for ballet and lyrical, where she enjoys blending expressive artistry with clean, thoughtful technique. Above all, Jordy strives to foster a family-oriented atmosphere that encourages growth, discipline, and self-belief.

    Jordy trained with Turning Pointe Academy of Dance before continuing her training at KRS Dance from 2016. She has trained across a wide range of styles including RAD ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, contemporary, and acrobatics, and has competed in both solo and group competitions since the age of 11.

    She began student teaching in 2017 through the KRS Dance Student Teacher program and transitioned into a teaching role at the end of 2018. Since 2018, Jordy has taught dancers from Preschool age through to Advanced levels, sharing her love of dance while supporting students’ growth week by week and year by year. She is honoured to work at KRS Dance under the direction of Kylie Saunders alongside a passionate and dedicated team of teachers.

    Throughout high school, Jordy studied dance extensively, earning multiple dance awards and achieving a Band 6 in the Higher School Certificate, including two Callback nominations, under the guidance of Lisa Bowmer at Ev and Bow Full Time Training Centre.

    As a performer, Jordy has appeared as a featured dancer in various musicals and has taken part in several film projects guided by Alex Dunlop and Pete Evans. She has also performed at major events and festivals including the Sydney Royal Easter Show, Victorian Dance Festival, and Australian Dance Festival.

    Committed to continual professional growth, Jordy is excited to further her knowledge and experience as a dance educator and looks forward to inspiring and supporting dancers for many years to come.

Annabel Scully

  • Annabel is a dance instructor and performer with a passion for entertaining. Growing up in the Sutherland Shire, she trained at KRS Dance from 2011–2018 under the guidance of Kylie Saunders. During this time, she trained in a variety of styles including ballet, contemporary, lyrical, musical theatre, and jazz. In 2019, Annabel completed two years of full time training at  Ev & Bow Full-Time Dance Training Centre facilitated by Sarah Boulter and Lisa Bowmer. 

    Annabel has a strong passion for supporting dancers of all ages throughout their unique dance journeys. Whether a student is taking their very first class or refining their artistry, she always offers guidance with patience and joy. She finds the connection between mind and body through movement empowering.


    Annabel aims to create a warm, welcoming space where her students feel comfortable to develop their own personal style and discover new ways of moving. She believes that building genuine, supportive connections helps dancers feel confident, motivated, and ready to challenge themselves. 

    In 2017 Annabel received 3 callback nominations for HSC dance. She also was awarded first for both Dance and Drama. In 2018 she received her Certificate IV in Dance at Ev & Bow Full-Time Dance Training Centre. Here she trained under the guidance of Sarah Boulter and Lisa Bowmer. She graduated from Ev & Bow in 2019 where she received her Diploma in Dance (Elite Performance). 

    Credits include: GRAZIA & Reebok collaboration with Des Fleurs, Women’s March Sydney 2019, ‘Controlled’ Sadiva Music Video, ‘Coming to Australia’ Tee Noah Music Video, Performer at The Art Gallery of New South Wales ‘Atelier Next Generation’ event for the ‘Here We Are’ exhibition, One Dance Collective’s Company Development Initiative Program. 

Alexandra Colagiuri

  • Alexandra began her dance training at the age of 3 at Kennedy Dance Academy before moving to KRS Dance in 2009 where she continued to study RAD Ballet and took Modern/Contemporary, Jazz and Tap classes as well as participated in the studio’s performance team.

    In 2011, Alexandra began training as a ballet teacher under Susan Seaton through KRS Dance’s Student Teaching Program and assisted in and taught many classes across different styles and age groups. After graduating high school, Alexandra began assistant teaching and teaching ballet exam and recreational ballet classes, performance ballet troupes, along with preschool aged classes through KRS Dance’s babyballet® program.

    "My vision for KRS Dancers is to inspire a new generation of students to leap into the studio and express themselves through dance. For young children who are just starting, I hope my Babyballet® and Pre-Primary classes provide an enjoyable and nurturing environment to safely introduce them into the magical world of dance and also give them the vital foundations of dance. For my older ballet students, many of whom are training to pursue the art form or enjoy dance as a recreational activity, I hope to be able to provide them with the tools to grow both as an individual and extend themselves as a dancer. I believe each student is gifted with an amazing quality and everyone has the ability to strive for and achieve their personal best, no matter who they are and what their experience may be. I feel so fortunate to just be a small part in their journey and look forward to watching my students shine into the future".

    In 2019, Alexandra gained RAD Registered Teacher Status after completing the Royal Academy of Dance’s Certificate of Ballet Teaching Studies course under the guidance and mentorship of Rebecca Rattew. In the same year, Alexandra completed her undergraduate degree, Bachelor of Science at the University of Sydney. Since then, Alexandra has worked in numerous education and outreach programs in schools and at the University of Sydney, where she also completed her postgraduate degree Master of Teaching (Secondary) in 2022. She is now a NESA accredited full-time teacher.

    Alexandra is committed to ensuring she continues to grow as a teacher in order to provide all her students with the best possible opportunities to reach their full potential; through staying up-to-date with emerging training and conditioning programs such as PBT, participating in regular RAD CPD courses, conferences and PL for teachers.

    As a student Alexandra participated in many dance programs and ensembles notably performing at Rock Eisteddfod Raw and School Spectacular and was a member of performance teams, representing her dance schools in both solo and troupe competitions.

    Alexandra has over eight years experience working as part of the teaching team in the KRS Ballet Department. Her roles have included preparing candidates for RAD Exams, co-producing and choreographing full-length ballets including The Adventures of Alice (2019) and The Nutcracker (2022) and working with troupe and soloist performers.

Charlotte Mowbray

  • Charlotte is trained in various dance styles including Jazz, Ballet, Contemporary, Lyrical, Hip Hop and Musical Theatre. She is also an experienced singer and actor, receiving six first place medals at the Quota Beenleigh Eisteddfod and her IB diploma with HL Theatre in 2022.

    In 2022, Charlotte passed her Southern Federation of Dance teachers’ exam (Jazz syllabus) and received her SFD Teaching Certification. Charlotte has many years of teaching experience; she has taught everything from tiny tot’s ballet through to performance teams.

    Charlotte believes that dance should be a safe and fun place for every student, and she hopes to foster her love and passion for dancing in them too.

    In 2020 Charlotte was accepted into the Queensland Academy for Creative Industries (QACI), which is a selective entry performing arts and academic high school in Brisbane. Charlotte achieved her IB diploma and qualified for places at four of the top schools offering Bachelor of Education degrees in Australia.

    In 2023, Charlotte accepted a place at the Academy of Music and Performing Arts (AMPA) where she is now in her final trimester of the Associate degree in Dance Performance, majoring in Jazz. Charlotte plans on completing a bachelor of music theatre in the future also.

    Charlotte has performed in many musicals, most notably as Morticia Addams in The Addams Family with Mousetrap Theatre in 2020, and as The Cat in the Hat in Seussical with ‘BAMS’ in 2019. Other musicals that Charlotte has performed in include: Annie; Grease; the Wizard of Oz; Back to the 80’s; the Little Mermaid; Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat; and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. She has also performed in cabarets and shows with Wild heart Creatives in Western Sydney.

    Charlotte has performed in a number of dramatic productions such as Mother Courage in Mother Courage and her Children (by Bertolt Brecht) in 2021 and A Midsummer Night’s Dream with the Queensland Academy for Creative Industries in 2022.

Paris Conley

  • Paris had begun her dance training at the age of 2 attending various dance schools over her training period. After securing her place here at KRS Dance in 2014, she has had immense guidance and mentoring from Kylie Saunders and other tutors which has allowed Paris to broaden and refine her dance skills and abilities in various styles including Jazz, Contemporary, Latin, RAD Ballet and Hip Hop. Now as a Dance Teacher at KRS Dance, her aim is to foster the growth and development of every individual, creating a fun and supportive environment where students can refine and improve on their performance abilities through safe dance practices.

    After studying Dance for her Year 12 HSC, Paris has received a callback nomination for her individual work highlighting her creative skills and artistic abilities. She has furthermore gained hands on experience at Ev & Bow Full Time Dance Training which has embedded her to complete her studies by receiving a Cert IV in Dance Teaching and Management. Completing these studies has shaped Paris into a dance teacher equipped with advanced skills and knowledge. This certification has been pivotal in her professional development, providing a solid foundation for effective dance training and management.

Fran Whitford

  • Fran is a fully qualified advanced Gymnastics teacher with over 30 years experience teaching, previously owning Star Gymnastics.

    Fran comes from a very technical background and enjoys teaching students the technique of the skill so they can achieve the skill long term. She has experience in both the Gymnastics and Dance industry over many years and teaching children various age groups and abilities.

    Her thorough understanding of technique and how to apply it is demonstrated by her dedication to teaching safe dance practice and challenging her students with new skills and concepts each week. “I aim to challenge my students and progress with their skill set and dance quality each lesson. It is important to me that I create a fun, safe and educational environment in my class to allow for everyone to enjoy themselves and learn something along the way. My goal for each student is to come home with a new concept or skill that furthers their love for dance. I also love to share my passion for performing and encourage kids to interpret dance in an expressive and unique way.”

    Miss Fran holds an Advanced Silver Gymnastics Coach Accreditation.

    Fran has over 30 years experience teaching, previously owning Star Gymnastics. She was also an Elite Judge for over 20 years!

Madi Kennedy

  • Madi has trained in dance for over 20 years, starting at the age of 2, in all styles including Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Classical Ballet, Hip Hop, Contemporary and Musical Theatre. Growing up, Madi trained in the Australasian Dance Association (ADA, formerly FATD) syllabus and has completed all her ADA exams receiving Honour’s plus and Honour’s with distinction. Madi holds her Pre Elementary, Elementary, Intermediate and Advanced Teaching Diploma Certificates with the ADA in Tap, Jazz and Ballet, being fully qualified to teach all syllabi grades across all 3 styles. She also holds qualification in the ADA Acrobatic Syllabus that is still developing.

    Across the years Madi has successfully sent many students for their dance exams receiving exceptional results. In 2019 Madi was accepted to study a Diploma of Dance (Elite Performance) with Dargie Entertainment. She then went on to complete a second year and graduated with an Advanced Diploma of Dance (Elite Performance) in 2020. She is now signed as a Dancer and Singer with Dargie Entertainment. In September of 2023 and into 2024, she embarked on her first International Professional Cruise Ship contract onboard the Oceania Riviera through Creative Studios by Norwegian Cruise Lines, sailing through Europe, Middle East and Asia for 7 months. In September of 2024 and into 2025, she embarked on her second International Professional Cruise Ship contract onboard the Sapphire Princess, rehearsing in LA and sailing around not only South America and Antarctica, but also Hawaii, Samoa and French Polynesia. She has also worked professionally in the Sydney Corporate Entertainment industry, including being a Magicians Assistant and dancing for the T20 Cricket Men’s World Cup, along with multiple other corporate entertainment bookings as a dancer and vocalist.

    Aside from dancing, Madi has also worked in Extras for TV, Including ‘Mr Inbetween’ (Foxtel), ‘Home and Away’ (Channel 7), ‘Ten Pound Poms’ (Stan) and ‘Strife’ (Foxtel) and ‘NCIS: Sydney’ (Network 10).

Ashleigh Dean

  • Ashleigh Dean is a seasoned performer who trained professionally at Launch Performing Arts Centre on the Gold Coast. She has had the honour of working alongside reputable choreographers and directors, such as Baz Luhrmann, Kate Wormald, and Nathan Wright.

    Her professional credits include performing in the TV series ‘The Wilds’, the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games, the Australian AFL Grand Final and, most recently, starring as a featured dancer in the feature film ‘Elvis’ and The Little Red Co’s ‘Lord Mayors Christmas Carols’.

    Ashleigh holds both her Certificate IV in Dance and Certificate IV in Dance Teaching and Management, and is a qualified and trained instructor Acrobatics, Contemporary and Jazz. Ashleigh is a passionate teacher who fosters dreams, nurtures talent, and encourages each individual to strive for their goals, no matter how big.

Raegan Williams

  • Raegan Williams has been learning ballet since she was 3 years old. She trained with the Marie Walton Mahon Academy and completed all RAD exams with high distinctions up until Solo Seal. Raegan has completed her Certificate 4 and Diploma in dance performance under the guidance of Marie Walton with the National College of Dance.

    Raegan recently performed in Locreado Dance Company's 'Nothing'. Directed by Loredo Malcolm and guest choreographer Amy Campbell. Limitless dance companies first 2 seasons 'Both Sides' and 'SE7EN' choreographed by Mitchell Turnbull. The combination by Vi Lam and Loredo Malcolm.

    Raegan has been on secondment with Daniel Jaber in Adelaide. She has performed with Catapult dance in 'It Girl' and 'Stories In Our Steps' collaborating with Tantrum Theatre and choreographed by Cadi Mcarthy. She has completed 3 residences with high profile choreographers and dancers Adam Blanch, Kristina Chan, Joshua Thompson and Craig Bary.

    Raegan has assisted choreographed on 'So You Think You Can Dance' with choreographer Debbie Ellis. Received an internship with Melbourne Ballet Company and has completed a secondment with Australian Dance Theatre in Adelaide.

    She worked on Carnival Cruise Lines completing 4, 8 month contracts, including Carnival Destiny, Carnival Imagination and the Carnival Triumph twice. Performing Broadway, burlesque and magic shows.

Sophie Ormonde

  • Sophie has been dancing since she 3 years old, starting out right here at KRS. She has trained in many styles over the years including ballet, contemporary, lyrical, jazz, tap and hip hop.

    "I love the idea of building connections with my students and giving them a fun and safe environment to build their passions for dance, as my teachers have previously, and still do, for me. I have been a student teacher here at KRS for a very long time and I am so excited to move on to the next step. I love dancing with my whole soul and adore being able to share that love through teaching."

    Sophie has been a part of many programs at KRS including both Xtend and the Pre-Professional program. Through these programs she has had many amazing performance opportunities and has been able to grow significantly as a dancer because of them. Sophie has been a student teacher at KRS for many years, helping her to develop her skills as a teacher. She loves being a part of the KRS community and is always excited to share that love with her students.

Lily Duncan

  • I began dancing at 2 years old and have trained in various styles including jazz, contemporary, lyrical, hiphop, and RAD ballet. After moving from southwest Sydney to the Sutherland Shire at a young age, My parents enrolled me into Dance at JWDA and Gymnastics at the NSW Academy of Gymnastics as I “wanted to do both”. I soon decided that dance was my passion, which then began my journey with KRS Dance. I trained and performed in the performance team for 10 years from ages 8 to 18 starting in the 10 years performance to graduating the Senior Performance team in 2023. The team became my closest friends as we spent many emotions and long days together, creating a team bond like no other. I have only just began my teaching career, hoping I can share my enthusiasm to my students as they discover who they are as dancers and become stronger and fitter.

    I have participated in extracurricular performing arts Dance programs and studied dance throughout high school receiving various awards for my excellence. I also was studying Dance externally through Ev and Bow full time Training Centre under the guidance of Lisa Bowmer for my Year 12 Higher School Certificate with a Callback nomination.

    I have performed alongside Samba Brazil with The Showmasters Co for the ‘Annual Sydney Chocolate Ball’ held and performed at the Star Casino Sydney.
